Adriano Murarotto, MSW,RSW

Adriano is the Executive Director of East York Meals on Wheels. His decision to dedicate his career to community work stems from volunteer experience with his family as a youth. Adriano completed his two degrees in Social Work at York and the University of Toronto where he further specialized in Human Service Administration. Before stepping into an executive position, Adriano spent more than 15 years working directly with seniors and people living with disabilities living in Toronto, York and Durham Region. He is a passionate leader who enjoys building strong teams and even stronger communities.
His passions include family, working on motorcycles and cooking delectable meals. A natural fit for Meals on Wheels!
Mary is the operations manager at East York Meals on Wheels, ensuring the effective delivery of programs and services. Her dedication to serving the community drives her to develop innovative initiatives that tackle the various obstacles to food security in Toronto. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph and has a background in Food Security from TMU. Prior to her role in the nonprofit sector, she worked in the food television industry as a production coordinator and producer.
Mary's interests involve baking for her loved ones and community.

Ana Gavino

Ana is the Meals on Wheels Coordinator, responsible for handling all client change requests, dietary intolerances, daily meal orders, organizing routes & transmitting all data to our food sources. Ana also prepares client billing invoices.
Ana previously worked at Lumacare coordinating frozen meal deliveries, assisting clients, and training volunteers. She came to our agency with a wealth of knowledge about Meals on Wheels and has great ideas to improve our processes and procedures.
Farah Alim

Farah is the Food Service and Agriculture Coordinator, responsible for supporting both Meals on Wheels and our Halal Meals on Wheels programs, specifically regarding the organization and promotion of our Halal program routes. Farah also runs the Fresh Food Delivery and Tower Garden programs. Farah also speaks multiple languages which is an asset in coordinating the Halal Meals program!
Farah has lived in the East York area for over 19 years and has always had a passion for assisting her community through volunteer work, which has included Neighborhood Link Support Services and Flemington Health Centre
Meike Jourdain

Meike is the Volunteer Coordinator, she works with the dedicated EYMOW volunteers who support our various programs. She has experience with volunteer coordination in food security, sexual health and 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy contexts. Meike has a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, and a Labour Studies Certificate from McMaster University.
Meike is passionate about showing up for her neighbours and does her best to uphold the principles of the phrase “solidarity, not charity”. She also loves experimenting in the kitchen and has an encyclopedic knowledge of reality television.
