East York Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit community service agency that provides good food and social support through caring volunteers to enhance the well being of East York residents. Founded in 1969, the agency is funded by client fees, donations, memberships, bequests, grants, the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network, and the City of Toronto. East York Meals on Wheels is a registered charity.
The agency is a member of Imagine Canada, the Ontario Community Support Association, and the Volunteer Centre of Toronto.

Last year, 130 dedicated volunteers helped more than 300 residents of East York maintain their independence and well-being.
Meals on Wheels volunteers delivered 25,372 hot and frozen meals to 226 clients.
91 Diners Club clients enjoyed 1,056 meals at approximately 88 social luncheons.
15 clients received 3,361 Telephone Reassurance calls.
EYMOW’s client services co-ordinator made 465 visits to clients in their homes.
